価値あるレアなカラーストーン、鑑別鑑定されたダイヤですら買ったお値段には程遠い価値でしか引き取られないのはなぜでしょう、と。

その昔、鎖国時代は石採掘のほとんどない国であったこと、金銀も少々とれた時代はありましたが、大陸を渡ってきたものと言われています。
宝石に至っては水晶や瑪瑙が少し採れる程度で大名クラスや金持ちが細工して身につける庶民には手の届かないものでした。
唯一世界で初めて養殖された日本の国家的宝石は有機物の真珠なのですが、真珠は保存状態が悪いと鉱物とは違い永久的とは言えません。
Did you know that it actually differs depending on the country? Japan is an island nation away from the continent, and during the period of national isolation, there was almost no stone mining in the country, and although there was a time when a little gold and silver were mined, it is said that they were brought over from the continent.
In terms of gemstones, only a small amount of crystals and agates could be mined, and they were out of the reach of the common people, being crafted and worn by the feudal class and the rich.
The only Japanese national gem that was the first in the world to be cultivated is the organic pearl, but unlike minerals, pearls are not permanent if they are not well preserved.

そして世界的に財産として身に着けるというものになったのです。
宝石への関心は日本とは歴史の長さも違い、
日本は明治以降のことで、偽物も横行して宝石商ですらその見極めができないことが多かったのです。
それもあり、天然の特にカラーストーンに関しては，よほどの目利きでないと正当な価値判断ができないということです。
また、戦後はダイヤモンドを売る傾向が（婚約指輪）強く小さなものでも高額でした。
価値のないものを高く売る業者もあり、宝石は本当のことが分かりずらい、ユーザーには「高額な値段」の価だけで価値をうるビジネスになりました。
本当の価値を知る専門家も少ないことは否めません。
In historical context, the European nobility's love of jewelry dates back a very long time.
Jewelry was first owned by nobility and royalty, and after the Industrial Revolution, even wealthy commoners were able to own jewelry. And it has become a wearable asset globally.
In Japan, the length of history of gemstones differs from that of other countries. Interest in gemstones has only grown after the Meiji era (1868-1912), and at that time fakes were rampant and even jewelers were often unable to determine the authenticity of gemstones.
This is one of the reasons why only a very skilled appraiser can give a fair appraisal of the value of natural gemstones, especially colored gemstones.
Also, after the war, it became more common to sell diamonds (engagement rings), and even small ones had high prices. Then some dealers began selling valueless items at high prices, and jewelry became a business where it was difficult to know the true value, and it was sold to customers just by its “high price” value. It is undeniable that there are not many experts who know the true value.

They are hard and shine brightly regardless of their size. Rare diamonds, such as blue, pink, and yellow ones, are sold at a high price. The brilliance of diamonds makes them the king of gemstones.
